Échange franco-roumain
Pour la seconde année consécutive, la chorale Atout Choeur a soutenu une association lors d’une soirée au collège Saint-Exupéry. Cette fois, c’était au profit de l’association AVAI qui promeut l’échange culturel et social entre les villes de Villeneuve-d’Ascq et Iasi en Roumanie. Organisée en collaboration avec la pastorale du collège, le but étant d’aider nos prochains par le don et la communion entre différentes cultures. Ainsi, les fonds récoltés lors du repas seront destinés à l’aide au développement d’une école et d’un orphelinat en Roumanie.
En plus de venir chanter, nous avons eu le plaisir de manger roumain et de découvrir les travaux des élèves sur la culture roumaine. La soirée-repas été ponctuée d’animations comme un chant et une danse traditionnelle roumaine mais aussi la petite chorale du collège. Dirigée par Céline, professeure de SVT au collège, les huit élèves ont chanté des cantiques en l’honneur de Dieu. Atout Choeur a également accompagné les enfants en chantant "Siyahamba", un cantique en Zulu, un langue parlée en Afrique du Sud.
Ensuite Atout Choeur a présenté quatre chants et a annoncé clairement l’amour de Dieu pour l’humanité. Ce fut encore une fois une belle opportunité de se réjouir ensemble et de proclamer la Bonne nouvelle à nos prochains.
